What does not change
Unlimited texting is in every row, and so is the monthly allowance of 100 tokens. The customization panel, the long-term memory, the voice library, image generation, short video clips and vision mode are not tiered: a monthly subscriber and a yearly one are using the same product. Subscribers also get faster response times and priority access to new experimental features. So the longer terms are not buying more; they are buying the same thing at a lower monthly figure, which is a different decision entirely.
Where tokens go
Tokens pay for generated media, not for talking. Images, short clips and the voice features draw on the allowance; messages do not. That matters when you are deciding, because the people who exhaust 100 tokens quickly are the ones who order picture batches, and the people who never touch them are the ones who mostly write. If you expect to be in the first group, the prompt-wording notes are worth reading before you spend any: proving a prompt on one render is cheaper than discarding six.
Choosing a term
Start short if you are undecided. A month at $13.99 is enough to find out whether the temperament you set holds up over a few weeks, and whether you actually use voice and images or only text. If the answer is yes on both counts, the yearly term at $3.99 a month is the same product for a quarter of the monthly rate — and if the answer is no, you have spent $13.99 finding out.
