One engine, two rosters
The customization panel does not branch. Ethnicity, age range, hairstyle, eye colour, body type, voice, hobbies and occupation are the same fields whether the character you are describing is a man or a woman, and the adaptive conversation engine behind them is identical — the platform overview describes it once, for everyone. If you already read how a Candy AI girlfriend is assembled, you already know the mechanics here. What is left is the writing.
Register beats appearance
Most people spend twenty minutes on the jawline and thirty seconds on the temperament, then wonder why he sounds like nobody in particular. Reverse that. A dominant setting means he opens the scene and names the next move; a shy one means he answers what he is asked and little more; playful sits between the two and volunteers detail you did not request. None of those is more masculine than the others, which is precisely the point — pick the dynamic you actually want. Browsing the character listing with that question in mind is faster than reading bios, because the bios all read well.
The opening session
Give him a place and a time of day in your first message. A setting is something to answer; a greeting is not. If the tone drifts, correct it inside the chat rather than rebuilding the character — long-term memory means those corrections stick and compound, and a fortnight later the register is yours rather than the default. Unlimited texting on every paid tier is what makes this cheap to practise, so the first evening can be spent entirely on calibration.
Voice and media
A voice picked from the library stays fixed across clips, which matters more for a male character than people expect: a mismatched pitch undoes an hour of writing. Images are generated against the current context of the chat, short clips put him in motion, and vision mode lets him respond to a photo you send. All of it draws on the 100 tokens included with every plan, so the sensible order is to settle the writing first and spend tokens second. The feature section lists what each mode does, and the pricing page covers what the three billing terms cost — $13.99 a month, $26.97 quarterly, $47.88 yearly.
Asked often
Is an AI boyfriend built with the same tools?
Yes — the same panel and the same engine. See the companion walkthrough for the full field list.
Which temperament works best for a male companion?
There is no best one. Choose by the dynamic you want, then test it on the listing.
Does he get voice and generated images too?
Voice, images, short clips and vision mode all apply, exactly as they do for illustrated characters.
Do I need a second subscription for a second companion?
Plans are account-level. Compare the three terms once you know how often you will use the media features.
